~Sulwhasoo 100% Ginseng Seed Oil~
Sulwhasoo Ginseng Seed Oil is produced as the world's first 100% Ginseng Oil which contains essential vitamins, omega 3 and omega-6 and nutrients that repair damaged skin.
- The History of Whoo boasts the same product - their Ginseng Ampoule Oil, however, it only contains 54.42% Wild Ginseng Oil, while Sulwhasoo's is 100% Ginseng Oil (extracted from the seeds).

Many of you are not aware but in South Korea, Sulwhasoo usually has celebrations in regards to their achievements and dedication to their customers. So this may have been a limited edition product - since it has never been released! Letting you all know that if you guys happen to see this, grab it! Ginseng has many nutrients that can help repair the skin, and I've seen wonders done by just using Sulwhasoo's Concentrated Ginseng Cream (my miracle product), and let alone ginseng oil: its a steal - especially if its 100% haha :)!
would you recommend this for people in their early 20s bc if i do see it i wouldn't want to miss a chance at grabbing it since you've said its your miracle product i would very much like to try it also...
ReplyDeleteHi orchidjadedx!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it fine to use natural oils at any age. Some oils like coconut oil, avocado oil, and walnut oil can cause some clogged pores to some (if you are prone to breakouts) - so it is always best to test out facial oils before applying it all over the face. Usually people with dry/dehydrated skin will benefit from this - but I have used many oils, like grape seed and had no problems.
As for Sulwhasoo's Ginseng Oil, this pure oil is only a limited product sold in South Korea - so if you have the chance to visit Korea, I highly recommend this essential oil because its hard to find a 100% natural korean ginseng oil in its pure form. However, if you are not able to get this product, and would like a ginseng oil, you can try The History of Whoo's Wild Ginseng Ampoule Oil.
Sulwhasoo's Concentrated Ginseng Cream is my miracle product - and I would seriously recommend this product to anyone who wants to achieve glowy, hydrated, plumped, and refined skin. Its really pricy, but its definitely worth it. Korean Ginseng as the potent ingredient (the first ingredient listed in the ingredient list) - you know your paying for quality.
Ginseng is a potent anti-oxident and will do wonders to the skin!
Please let me know if you need any help :)

Thank you for all the wonderful recommendations. I don't think I will ever get a chance to go to SK but I am so glad you included alternatives. I am saving so much for skin care so I just hope that it'll be worth it. Thank you again.

You're very welcome orchidjadedx!!! :) I hope you get to try out the ginseng oil, and hopefully let me know how you like it! <3!

Hi Anonymous :)
Yes, its fine to use the ginseng oil even if you have acne-prone/oily skin. But if you are prone to milia, I suggest not using it (test it out first to make sure you don't get any breakouts), other than that it should be fine to use :)!

Wow, really really pretty packaging and bottles! I want the ginseng oil but I am almost afraid to find out the price! :P
ReplyDeleteGosh this is so exciting! I live in Canada and in the winter cold and the blasting heat indoor, it gets super dry and skin would crack. For the longest time, I've had problems with blemishes and flaking skin and didn't know how to deal with it, because I was not sure if my skin was dry or oily. Turned out that it was the moisture balance in my skin that gets overly irritated when it is dried up. Until I started using Sulwhasoo, I had been switching product every half a year or so because nothing works!! I am talking about huge brand names like Channel, Dior, Shiseido etc...
ReplyDeleteI just turned 20 when I started using the Ginseng cream from Sulwhasoo, and my skin's been getting better and better since. Even spa aestheticians would compliment on my skin! And I've been having skin problem for ages!
I am in my mid 20s now and I decided to switch to Laneigh a couple of months ago because Sulwhasoo is rather expensive, but it only takes me a month to switch back. What I spent extra towards Sulwhasoo I pretty much gained back from not needing to do microderm and mesojet treatments as often.
For those of you who had not tried, please at least give their basic line a go! You would not regret it!! Then perhaps try their line of makeup too... nothing else compares!
Sorry blog owner... I can't help but to get so excited when I read that you said the ginseng cream is a miracle product. I totally agree with that!
I love this post. Such a great skin care oil. Thanks for sharing us.

Hi, is this Sulwhasoo 100% Ginseng Seed Oil still available? I have never heard of this product before until I stumble into your blog by accident (which I am grateful for). Maybe because I have never seen this product on the market. I live in Malaysia. I was considering to give it a try. Would you please advice me where can I purchase the product online?
ReplyDeleteDon't think they have this on the market. But they have another Gingseng Essential Oil which is very hot in Asia.
DeleteWhen is the best time to apply Concentrate Ginseng Cream?.I usually apply it after Balancing Emulsion from Sulwhasoo basic line. What is the skin type that suit this product. Thanks
